修士課程
Master’s Programs in Japanese
主に日本人を対象とする「一般選抜」の他に、留学生向けに以下のような各種「外国人留学生特別選抜」が実施されています。各試験の詳細についてはこちらをクリックしてください。

A）外国人留学生特別選抜―国費留学生
A) Examination for International Students who are Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Recipients
この試験は、日本政府(文部科学省)の国費外国人留学生（大使館推薦または大学推薦）の「研究留学生」に採用され、既に日本の大学で研究生等として学んでいる留学生が受験できる選抜試験です。入学時期は4月です。「研究計画書」にもとづく口頭試問(原則日本語)および推薦状・成績証明書などの出願書類の審査により合否が決定されます。推薦状に関しては、出願者の出身大学教員と日本国内の受入大学教員から、それぞれ提出された2通の推薦状について審査を行います。筆記試験は課されません。
This examination is applicable and designed only for International Students who have already been granted a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, and who are studying at a Japanese university as a research student. Admission is in April. Both an interview (in Japanese) based on the Research Plan and document screening will be conducted. Two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member of the applicant’s home university and the other from a faculty member of the Japanese university which accepted the applicant as a research student) are particularly closely scrutinized. The academic transcript will be evaluated as well. No written examination is required for candidates of this type.
B）一般選抜
B) General Examination
上記のいずれのカテゴリーにも属さない出願者は、日本人学生とともに一般選抜試験（入学時期は4月です）を受験することになります。一般選抜の試験方法は、経済学の専門科目および英語（TOEFL等の民間試験スコア）によります。
International Students who are not categorized above might take the General Examination as Japanese students do. Admission is in April. This examination consists of an examination in economics-related subjects and English (global test score such as TOEFL).
博士後期課程
(Doctoral Programs in Japanese)

A）外国人留学生特別選抜―国費留学生
A) Examination for International Students who are Japanese Government Scholarship Recipients
この試験は、日本政府(文部科学省)の国費外国人留学生として、本学または日本の他の大学に、大学院修士課程学生または研究生（6ヶ月以上）等として在学し、博士課程入学後も同奨学金の支給期間の延長が可能な者が受験できます。入学時期は4月です。試験では、受験生の研究能力および語学力を審査します。試験方法は、修士論文の審査、英語（TOEFL等の民間試験スコア）、口頭試問によります。
This examination is applicable and designed only for International Students who have been granted a Japanese government (MEXT) scholarship, who are studying at Kyushu University or another Japanese university as master program students or research student (6 months or more), and whose scholarships are expected to be extended after enrolling in a doctoral program. Admission is in April. This examination, which is designed to measure the applicants’ academic ability and language proficiency, consists of master thesis screening, English (global test score such as TOEFL), and an interview.
B）一般選抜
B) General Examination
上記のいずれのカテゴリーにも属さない出願者は、一般選抜での受験となります。一般選抜の試験では、受験生の研究能力および語学力を審査します。試験方法は、修士論文の審査、英語（TOEFL等の民間試験スコア）、口頭試問によります。
International students who do not belong to the categories described above might take the same General Examination with Japanese applicants. This examination, which is designed to measure the applicants’ academic ability and language proficiency, consists of three parts: screening of submitted academic papers (such as a Master thesis or equivalent), English (global test score such as TOEFL), and an interview.
