On July 8, 2021, we held an online lunch meeting with the international students from the department of Economic Engineering.

25 international students and 6 professors participated in this event. Dean Prof. Oishi, Director Prof. Urakawa, Prof. Yeh, Associate Prof. Miwa, Associate Prof. Yamazaki and Assistant Prof. Chu joined this meeting and delivered messages to the students.

Although the gathering time was pretty short, we had a very fruitful conversation with the students. We found most students still could not be able to enter into Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic. What the students concerned the most was when they could be able to attend the offline classes in Japan. On the other hand, some students were interested in working in Japan in the future and asked many questions about job hunting in Japan.

2021年7月8日(木)12時-13時、経済工学専攻に所属する留学生との懇親会がオンラインで開催されました。

懇親会には25名の留学生と大石教授（研究院長）、浦川教授（専攻長）、葉教授、三輪准教授、山﨑准教授、儲講師（留学生担当教員）の6名が参加されました。
Covid-19の流行により、まだ日本に入国できていない留学生もいます。そのため、学生たちは、日本での対面授業の実施時期や授業の形態（ハイブリッド授業の導入など）について関心を持っていました。将来は日本で働くことを希望する留学生もおり、日本の就職活動の特徴について多くの質問がありました。短い時間ではありましたが、留学生にとって非常に有意義な懇親会となりました。
