In 2018, the graduate school of economics will expand its international (English-taught) graduate programs.
The International Graduate Program in Economics: IGPE, which had been established in 2010 as one of the *MEXT's G30
graduate programs of Kyushu University, will be renamed the
International Program in Public Economics: IPPE
and the Global Business Science Program: GBSP which started in 2017 will be extended and reorganized into the following two programs.
The initial program spun off from the IGPE in 2017 will be renamed the
International Program in Financial and Business Economics: IPFBE,
and we will launch a new business-oriented program, the
International Program in Management and Accounting: IPMA in 2018.

Both the IPPE and the IPFBE are the graduate programs based upon
the discipline of economics. The IPFBE is accommodated to the needs of the students
who wish to concentratedly study business related issues, while the IPPE targets
the students who specialize in various subfields of economics as well as public issues.
The IPMA targets the students who wish to specialize in management and/or accounting.
The IPMA and the IPFBE are jointly operated in collaboration with the Business School of Kyushu University (QBS).
